Sometimes I am a bit lost on certain things.  I like to cook so I was surprised when one of my authors submitted an article about a braai.  I didn’t know what that was.  So I looked it up and it is an African term for barbeque meat.  I was happy to learn that the article showed how to cook the braai.  But I was still a little confused about what is a Braai?

I looked it up on Wikipedia and it tells the story of how a Braai is more of a barbeque pot luck.  It’s a social event.  Sure, the Braai still involves barbequeing meat, there is so much more that is involved.  It’s more of a festive occasion.
