Should you Buy Used Large Format Copiers?
Given the expensive price range of new large format copiers, a healthy aftermarket of used copiers has developed. Although many businesses in the market for these copiers will always buy new, if you’re willing to accept an older model or an analog machine over a digital machine, you can save significant money by buying used. These used copiers traditionally come from either liquidition sales of existing physical inventory for businesses that have fallen on hard times or from trade ins that are made when a business upgrades to a new model. In either case, used copiers are often refurbished before resale and newer models may even come with a portion of the manufacturer’s warranty intact. So, if you’re willing to accept a model that’s a year or two old, buying used can definitely save you money.
