They can better answer your questions about Comcastic service Hey. If so, interesting that most sites I’d visited before setting my system up mentioned lack of PPV and cable company guide as the major downsides to the TV with cablecard option, but in fact for me the killer for cablecard has proved to be that I can’t record the digital channels without watching hdtv cables. Also called comcast and they told me all the digital channels, basic or otherwise, are encrypted. Hiya Sorry followup - the DVD recorder manual does state it can only receive channels 1-125. Samsung technical support unhelpful, Haven’t actually called Comcast to ask them this question yet.
