Brushing your dog is a chore, but if you really want to keep your dog healthy, and your house a lot cleaner, then it is an important part of their care. Using a dog brush means you remove all the old hair they are carrying around with them, which in summer means you are helping them keep cool by removing bits of their winter coat, and it also gives you time to looks over your dog for signs of fights or infections etc. By catching an infection/rash early then you can get it treated a lot easier, but as most people don’t brush their dogs then they don’t notice it until much later.
