I have recently moved to the New York City area, and I did not want to keep my previous car insurance because the provider was now 3000 miles away from my new home.  I needed insurance for my cars, and because I was new to the area, I did a Google search for Cheap Car insurance in New York.  I had several great options pull up on my screen.  I have already made some phone calls, and I will be making an informed decision very soon.  I just need to decide which deductible would work best for my situation as well as my wallet.
