My sister told me that for her last child she wanted to have a home birth.  Her midwife was very encouraging because this was her fourth child and she had delivered the other three naturally and never had any complications.  She said that she was a perfect candidate for home birth if that was what she wanted my sister invited us to come because she said she wanted all the family there.  It really was quite a beautiful experience and I’m considering the same for my next child if my midwife thinks that it will be a good option for me.
