Wanting to Be Prepared
When we moved to Florida we knew that we could expect a lot of storms. That didn’t really bother us, but we knew that we wanted to be prepared. We made an emergency kit that has some food and water in it, and a few other supplies. We also decided to shop around for an electric power generator. We hope that we don’t ever need it, but we have heard horror stories of people being without electricity for days after a storm. We want to make sure that if we lose electricity we can still have power for basic things. It’s a good idea to be prepared.
