Shopping Around For a Deal on SR22
My car insurance lapsed for about a week and the state stuck me with a $500 fine and is making me purchase sr22 insurance. This is a major inconvenience, but it is my own fault. I have to keep it for the next three years. If it lapses, I will have to start all over again. I need to shop around for a better deal because my current company charges too much. I have bad credit and also have a speeding ticket on my record. I hope I can find something more affordable than the $1000 per year that my current company wants to charge me.
