Kara from American Idol is a U.S born celebrity who is a multi-talented record producer, amongst other things. DioGardi has been ascribed to the release of more than 100 albums. She is also an executive of Talent Development for WB. Lately, she is mostly known as sitting beside Simon Cowell on the sensational TV program American Idol. As part of this team she collaborated with fellow song writer Paula Abdul on some of the pieces sung by certain contestants. For season 8’s finale, she performed onstage, surprising the audience by ripping off her dress and showing off her bikini underneath. Dioguardi essentially creates light rock. She has a songwriting catalogue of hundreds of pieces, of which more than almost 300 have been released on major labels internationally, and in excess of almost 200 have been on some of the most popular selling albums. Her work has been presented in major motion pictures, TV, in soundtracks, and on radio, as well as national and international commercial campaigns. She has collaborated with pop stars such as Theory of a Deadman and  Hillary Duff. She divides her time between Maine and Los Angeles.
